★★☆☆☆ It's all about the money and maintaining large overhead costs. I was not impressed by having to sit for well over an hour after Isha salat on lailat ul khadr night while a mosque spokesman went on and on about how the mosque needed money. He would not allow us to pray taraweh prayers until $30k were pledged or donated. Maybe if they ran a simple, low cost operation there would be no need to extort money from people who just want to pray. Posted on June 9, 2012
★★★★☆ Very large and beautiful looking masjid which is run by ISNA Canada. I like the openess of the masjid (no wall barrier between men and women in the main hall). Posted on January 15, 2010
★☆☆☆☆ Nice space and great location (off the QEW). However, a fairly "liberal minded" atmosphere. Do not consider it important to have a fulltime imam. Decent tarawih prayers, although lots of mixing between genders during tarawih prayers and Jum'ah salat. Posted on January 11, 2008
★★★★☆ ISNA Center is this grand mosque one cannot miss while driving along the QEW West of Toronto. I ve been there briefly once, it is a full-service major islamic center and has all kinds of activities and social functions etc. A bit out in the suburbs and too far from the city though. Has a big bookshop there too. Posted on November 28, 2006
