The Columbia Muslim Law Students Association (MLSA) serves as a social and educational group at Columbia Law School for Muslim students and non-Muslim students interested in legal issues impacting Muslims at large and Islamic countries. The group welcomes Muslim and non- Muslim law students at Columbia Law School to form a community and explore legal issues facing the Muslim community and Islamic world, address misconceptions about Islamic law and the legal ramifications of non-Islamic laws for the Muslim community, and explore the law from a religious and cultural view.
