| | ★ Was driven to this Masjid on Tues, 25 May 2010, after a failed attempt to pray at Masjid Al-Ansar. Upon arrival the masjid was locked, but a brother sitting in his car outside in the parking lot said it might be open at 1330 for dhuhur. This was at abt 1240. I came back at about 1325 and saw that the lights and fans were on inside but all the doors were still locked. I couldn't see anyone inside, but I knocked anyway. The aforementioned brother was no longer in his car which was still the only one in the parking lot. While praying outside of the masjid I heard someone exit the masjid, start their car, and drive away. Of course after finishing, it was clear that the brothers car was no longer in the parking lot. Additionally, the address listed on this website is incorrect. There is nothing on 6th Ave/63rd streetish that resembles a masjid. Only 2 story apt buildings. The masjid I went to, which I was told was Masjid Ibrahim, is on 7th Ave btwn 67 | | |
