With the completion of the new addition at 711 Morgan Avenue in Las Vegas, Fajr Al-Islam is now embarking on Phase 2 of its educational program. Fajr Al Islam will continue the education of Muslim youth and open the facility to the neighboring community with the launch of our Homework Stop tutorial program. The Homework Stop will be open Tuesday - Thursday 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Fajr Al-Islam Learning Center provides a comprehensive approach to education, with a curriculum that includes high academic standards, vocational training and quality Islamic studies in an active environment. The Learning Center's objectives are to incorporate Islamic principals into the core curricula, to utilize modern teaching strategies and methodologies, to utilize computer technology to support learning in all major subjects, to encourage the pursuit of knowledge through the individuals aptitude and interest, to provide guidance that leads to the highest morale standards and ethical behavior, and to teach additional languages.
